1. Service Guarantee
At Furnace Service Co., we are committed to providing high-quality heating services and complete customer satisfaction. We stand behind our workmanship and want you to feel confident in choosing us for your furnace repair, installation, and maintenance needs.
2. Service Call and Diagnostic Fees
Service call fees are due at the time of service. If we diagnose an issue and you proceed with the recommended repair, we will waive the diagnostic fee as part of our service commitment. This credit will be applied to your final bill for the repair work.
3. Repair Services
Workmanship Warranty: We offer a 90-day warranty on all parts and labor for repair services. If you experience any issues related to our repair work within 90 days, we will return and correct the problem at no additional charge.
Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to all replacement parts. Many parts carry warranties ranging from 1 year to 10 years, depending on the manufacturer and component type.
4. Installation Services
System Warranty: New furnace installations include a minimum 1-year workmanship warranty, plus any extended warranties offered by the equipment manufacturer.
Customer Satisfaction: We conduct a final walkthrough with you after installation to ensure everything is working properly and you understand the operation of your new system. Your satisfaction is our priority.
Financing: If you utilize our financing options, refund policies are subject to the terms of your financing agreement. Please refer to your financing documents for specific details.
5. Maintenance Agreements
Annual Plans: Our annual maintenance plans include priority scheduling and discounts on repairs. Annual fees are non-refundable but may be credited toward future services if you are unable to use your scheduled maintenance visit.
Multi-Year Plans: Multi-year agreements offer significant savings. If you need to cancel a multi-year plan, unused portions may be refunded minus any discounts already applied to services.
6. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Generally, refunds may be considered when:
- A service was not performed as described or agreed upon
- Duplicate billing occurred in error
- A cancellation occurred before any service work began
- Payment was made in error or for an amount not owed
7. Cancellation Policy
Before Service: If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid any service call fees.
Same-Day Cancellations: Cancellations within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment may incur a small service fee to cover technician dispatch costs.
No-Show: If we arrive for a scheduled appointment and cannot access your property, a service call fee may apply for rescheduling.
8. Disputed Charges
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unjustified, please contact our office within 30 days of the billing date. We will investigate the charges and work with you to resolve any discrepancies. You may request an itemized breakdown of charges for any service.
9. Credit and Payment Reversals
If a refund is approved, we will process it through the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. Credit card refunds may take one billing cycle to appear depending on your financial institution.
10. Satisfaction Follow-Up
After service completion, you may receive a follow-up call or email to ensure you are satisfied with our work. This is your opportunity to raise any concerns while our team is familiar with your situation. We take all feedback seriously and use it to continuously improve our service.
